To make sure that your time in our halls is unforgettable, we have a dedicated Residence Life team who support your transition into student accommodation and are also there if you need any additional support. As well as regular events, we offer you the chance to learn new skills such as cooking and cleaning, and opportunities to enhance your CV through volunteer or part-time work.

We have a team of Residential Advisers who are current students employed and trained by the university to provide support and guidance to residents. Recognisable by their green hoodies, our Residential Advisers will be there to welcome you to your accommodation and are around throughout the year to say ‘hello’, provide information and help to promote a sense of community.

They are also responsible for organising social events to make sure that you feel at home and make friends. Regular events range from film nights, quizzes and coffee nights and we also host big end of term events.
